Our rolled oats are an excellent breakfast boost — high in complex carbs and fibre, they’re an ideal way to help muscle recovery after working out.1
- A good source of Beta Glucans
- Contributes to the reduction of blood glucose levels after a meal
- Contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels
With 28g of carbohydrates per serving, these are a great source of energy to get your day started, plus they’ll help with muscle recovery1 — getting you back to the gym session after session.
They’re also an easy way to boost your calorie intake if you’re trying to bulk up, as you can add to your protein shakes or enjoy in between meals as a low-fat snack.
1. Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. This beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4g per kg body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours, and no later than 6 hours, following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.
