Effective but the smell is weird
I've used it in my handstand training and it did help me grid the bar harder when I was doing it on paralletes. The chalk covered my hand nicely and thoroughly, the extra grip and sweat absorption it provided was good. But there is an unpleasant smell in the chalk which I can get used to.
